We are pleased with our recent purchase at the Hewitt store. What started as a casual visit to see your site and inventory (as I departed a conference in Waco), ended up in a SALE. Though I live only about 15 miles from Wharton, Joshua was pleasant and located a factory fresh Mini Lite 2516 that he knew could be claimed for the Waco yard.
Joshua Valdez and Todd Saylors presented a deal that was respectable and agreeable. I retired from a career in sales, and recognize that in a 'short supply' market, we would not get the best deal ever. We worried about the promised reality of the unit actually getting to Hewitt, but about 3 weeks later it all came together.
Joshua and your staff made the delivery day a pleasant middle to an 8 hour round trip.
I have inspected and operated all features and systems since arriving home. It is a well designed unit for our needs and I have found very little to tweak. Will soon take it on a maiden voyage to a Texas park.
There is only one complaint, and that is against Rockwood and Forest River. They make a BIG deal about installing Goodyear Endurance tires (a very good thing) while putting a Castle Rock on the spare. Castle Rocks are a true safety hazard for the consumer. I have experienced two Castle Rock blow-outs in one mid-winter trip. Then an unused Castle Rock blew out on the spare tire rack while parked at my home. Upon discovery of that China Bomb, I immediately spent $120 for a replacement.

It's been almost 2 months since we got our camper from Fun Town RV. They've been so amazing even months after purchase helping with any questions we have. This was one is the easiest and headache free experiences we have ever had buying anything! John in sales was great and easy to work with, we never felt like he was trying to update us and we also felt he was a very honest sales person. Howard in the service department was fantastic! Wow. This was the best experience I’ve ever had buying an RV. Juan as our salesman was fantastic. He was informative, helpful, patient in helping us find just the right RV. Tom in finance worked his magic and helped us to secure the trailer, really, he’s a magician. Then came the day to pick up our RV and it seemed like everyone was out to help us. Howard, Rafael, Marcus, Billy and even the GM Andy stepped up in helping us move our gooseneck adapter from our old trailer to our new trailer. They took time explaining every detail of our new trailer to us. They even gave us a spot on the lot to move out of our old trailer and into our new. These are pictures taken a few days ago. We are currently in Fairbanks Alaska in the process of seeing what there is to see around here. We have decided we almost hate this trailer. It has caused us to make some decisions that cause us to acquire a really large credit card bill. But we would not have it any other way. The Spartan has been fairly trouble free. It has had its share of little things that required a nail or a screw or some minor tightening on a connection. All in all it is serving us very well.
